How to prepare for your appointment?
In order to get the best possible result from the styling appointment, please follow these recommendations:
Hair and skin
- Wash and dry your hair normally in the morning of the styling day (if not possible – in the evening before)
- Do not apply any heavy hair masks or oils to the hair
- If the styling is in the morning, and you are planning to do your skincare routine, do it latest 15 minutes before we start makeup and let it fully absorb
- Prepare several references of hair and makeup you would like (preferably from my works)
Bridal rehearsal
- Formulate and write down all your particular preferences in your bridal look
- Make a visual board of makeup and hair images (preferably from my works) that you see on yourself
- Collect pictures of your dress, shoes, jewelry, accessories, groom’s suit, party design, style for guests (if any), color patterns, etc.
- Wear a top (preferably a shirt), that matches your wedding dress color (no turtlenecks)
- Wash and dry your hair normally in the morning of rehearsal day
- Do not apply any heavy hair masks or oils
Wedding morning
- Wash your hair and apply conditioning on the ends, without any heavy hair care products (masks, treatments, oils)
- Ask your family and friends to take care of all the issues while styling process is going on
- Have a good sleep and breakfast, even if you have to get up very early
Styling space
If you get ready at home or in a hotel, think over and organize a comfortable space for the stylist beforehand:
- a place with daylight opposite the window
- 2 usual chairs or 1 a high (bar) chair, if you have
- a table or other surface nearby
- 2 sockets / extension cord nearby
